While its still been pretty chill over 323 Walker Street during the art strolls, its been a hot minute since the last actual City of Ink art show. So just in time for this months stroll (FYI: The art strolls have changed to the 2nd Friday of the month) COI will be hosting John Hairston, Jr.'s exhibit, "Hollywood Africans": A Celebration of the Life and Times of Jean-Michel Basquiat.
The highest a Basquiat has ever sold was about $15 Million...fortunately for you this event absoultely free with a semi-open bar most likely. So if you're tired of the SAMO, fall through, COI shows are always fun.
