R.I.P. Wayman Tisdale

Sad news. Former NBA'er and jazz musician Wayman Tisdale passed away this morning after a two year fight with cancer. He was diagnosed with the cancer in 2007 after he broke his leg, he eventually had to have it amputated. Up until then he was known as one of the worlds best bass guitar players.

I actually had the opportunity to interview Mr. Tisdale when he was promoting his 2004 album Hang Time. Very pleasant person. He was the type where, if you had a bad attitude that day, it was going to be gone as soon as you came around him. ESPN has been running videos and commentary on Mr. Tisdale's life since this morning, figured I'd share one here.
